What features can you expect to find on the new Flip MinoHD? You will find it comes with a rounded edge that fits perfectly in your pants pocket and it is in brushed metal. Look for the design gallery, upload images and pattern generator in the future, but they aren’t available yet. If you live for the moment and want to capture life as it happens then the Flip MinoHD with 120-minutes is for you. It has a power up time of three seconds and since it just takes one touch to record it couldn’t be easier.

There is 8GB of built-in memory so you don’t have a need for additional memory. The 120 minutes of video will be sharp and realistic. You can purchase the Flip Video Power Adapter to recharge the ion battery. However, the internal lithium ion battery will recharge using the built in USB arm. The anti glare display is now two inches in diameter and is perfect for deleting or playing back videos. No more moving the camcorder back and forth trying to see the images clearly. The camcorder has 2x digital zoom and gives great results in both bright and low lighting.

The Flip MinoHD works with your own PC or Mac by way of a flip out USB arm. It will plug directly into your computer and downloads a preloaded FlipShare Software. This software allows you to send your videos to email, Facebook, YouTube, and MySpace. You can also edit specific clips, customize your movies as well as get still image photos. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination. The HDMI cable that is sold enables you to watch your video on your own HDTV. Just plug the cable into the HDMI output on the Flip MinoHD 120 minute camcorder.

Children can’t accidentally delete any of the video because of a mode that has been built into the camcorder. They have also given us backlit buttons for use in low light recording and for playback. The video has 16:9 widescreen, HD with 720 pixels at 30 frames per second’s progressive scan which is recorded as MP4 files. A tripod mount allows you to put the camcorder on any standard tripod. If you just want to share your videos with friends or family there is a way to create private channels. One way this can be done is through attachment free emails and greeting cards as you get unlimited video sharing at no charge.

Besides the accessories to purchase that we have already mentioned there is a Flip Video Soft Pouch to carry your Flip MinoHD camcorder in. The pouches come in a two pack and have a carabineer attached to the bag loop for even easier access. If you’re not a fan of neoprene they also have a wool pouch for your Flip camcorder. This type of pouch won’t attach to your belt, but it does protect the surface from scuffs and scratches.

What can you expect to get with the new Flip MinoHD 120 minute camcorder? If you purchase it directly from Flip they include the camcorder with the built in rechargeable lithium ion battery. You will get a soft protective case and wrist strap for portability. The Quick Start Guide comes with the camcorder to get you started recording videos right away. You may find other deals on this camcorder that could offer the same boxed package. The price that we found online was about two hundred and thirty dollars for the basic package. The accessories for the camcorder can start at fifteen dollars for the Flip Video tripod to twenty five dollars for the rest of the accessories.

The Flip MinoHD 120 minute camcorder is by far the easiest to use camcorder on the market and the quality of the video is terrific. This camcorder is the perfect accompaniment for family outings.
